Bose Public Affairs Group
When you think of Washington, D.C., images of Capitol Hill and The White House likely come to mind. While it is the nation’s capital, D.C. has its own government and possesses the 34th largest economy in size among the 50 states. The U.S. Constitution gives Congress oversight of D.C.’s laws and budget, but the District operates as a state, with its own mayor and city council who represent the interests and values of more than 700,000 residents, a population larger than two states. This complex legal and political relationship presents unique challenges and provides opportunities for companies doing business in and with the District.
The team at Bose Public Affairs Group has deep experience and longstanding relationships with members of the city council, the mayor and appointed leaders of regulatory agencies. Our team understands how Washington’s local government works and is well positioned to work with clients to develop a successful local government relations strategy.
